How Volumetric Weight Works

Volumetric weight (kg) = Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ Divisor, per carton, multiplied by the number of cartons.

All five fields are required — Length, Width, Height, Number of Cartons and Actual Weight must all be greater than 0.
Air freight uses a divisor of 6000.
Express couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) use a divisor of 5000.

💡 PRO TIP: Light but bulky cargo (pillows, clothing, plastics) is billed by volume, not weight. Compact packaging — vacuum bags, flat-fold boxes — can cut your shipping cost significantly.

Example

A carton of 60 × 40 × 50 cm weighs 15 kg. Volumetric weight = 60×40×50 ÷ 6000 = 20 kg. The carrier bills 20 kg (the higher value).
